When I was younger my grandma always used to make a dish we called bones. I never knew how to make it or got her recipe. When I started cooking for my husband and I after we got married, I remembered the meal and was disappointed I never learned how to make it. I had my husband ask his dad who is also Italian and a chef. He said he knew the dish and that they were pork neck bones. I started researching recipes, and with trial and error and a few of my own tweaks, I found this to be best recipe by far. I love making this on Sundays or when the weather starts to become a bit cooler. It makes the house smell delicious!
